Boarding & International Students

Please include the following flight information:

• Screenshot of your flight booking
• Flight numbers and arrival time

• Please fill out the roommate questionnaire in your parent portal (to be filled out by student in the parent portal).
• Each student will be placed in a room based on living needs, age, and room availability.
• IF you have a special request, please email Mr. Pool (Dean of Students).
• Students will share bathrooms with other students. Be sure to bring a robe and bathroom shoes if needed. Some bathrooms are inside the room and some are in the hallway.

Your home base and social hub is the dorm. This is where you'll study, relax, and find your dorm faculty hanging out after dinner. You'll be surrounded by new friends from across the country and around the world. 

• Students will have fully furnished rooms with 2-4 beds. Each student will have their own desk, dresser, and closet space.  Additional storage is available for students upon request.
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided daily at the Cafe. Meals are prepared with health, nutrition, and dietary restrictions in mind. 
• All linens are provided and changed weekly.
• Mini-fridge and microwave are included in each dorm room.
• Bathrooms are located within the room.
• Roommate pairings are selected by our Dean's office. 
• Common areas include a "Silent Room" for a nightly study hall and a lounge with sofas, vending machines and television for students to congregate.
• Residential faculty will implement nightly study hall periods, weekend activity programming, and 24-hour adult supervision.

In order to issue your I-20, the U.S. Federal Government Agency, SEVP, requires all families applying for an F-1 visa to submit proof of ability to pay. This can be done by asking your bank for proof of funding for the full school year ($60,000) or by having them fill out the form below. PLEASE NOTE: The currency does not matter but the document must show the USD EQUIVALENT somewhere on the form.

All students studying at Newman must have health insurance. For international health insurance, please purchase below. The start date for the insurance should be NO LATER than August 28th, 2022.

We will issue your I-20 AFTER we receive proof of insurance.
