Thank you for your interest in The Newman School.
If you have visited Boston and had the opportunity to walk the neighborhoods of Back Bay, you already know that Newman's location is among the best in Boston.
Whether you live in the Boston area, or are visiting, we welcome you to tour our neighborhood and school.
Appointments can be made for tours and Shadow Days on most school days. These are opportunities to meet our students and teachers while learning more about our challenging IB college prep curriculum and our sports, clubs and service activities.
If you are an International Student or perhaps a student considering the Boston Ballet's Pre-professional Program ( while you study at Newman), a tour might not be possible as part of the Admissions process.
Our website has a wealth of information about Newman School, Life in Boston and preparing for life beyond Newman.
Whether you get to know us through our website, or a visit to Newman or both, we hope you get a sense of what has made Newman a top choice for students searching for high quality preparation for college and university in one of America's best cities.
One of the things I love about Newman is the price point and diversity. The school pulls from a wide variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, to which I want my child to have exposure.
I’ve never seen anything like the strength of the relationship between students and faculty. They truly want students to succeed.
Newman offers a great, hands-on learning environment.
Newman has a strong sense of community. There is exposure to a variety of cultures and they meet students’ varied interests and backgrounds. They are committed to academic success.
