The Newman School is a hidden gem in the heart of Boston that you truly have to experience for yourself. Your visit will include a student-led tour, an admissions interview, and a short writing exercise — all designed to give you a genuine sense of our community, culture, and academic life. We look forward to welcoming you to campus and showing you what makes Newman so special.
Tour & Interview
A tour and interview are required. Please register HERE.
The Candidate Profile must be submitted prior to your tour and interview.
Campus tours for prospective students and parent/guardian are led by a student admissions ambassador. During the 30 minute tour, you will walk through Newman's two historic five-story townhouses, observing classes, and chatting with students and faculty.
Should a student like to tour the dormitory, please let us know in advance. admissions@newmanboston.org
Student and parent/guardian interviews take place after the campus tour. The student interview takes about 25 minutes. The parent/guardian interview directly follows and takes about 20-25 minutes. During the parent interview, students will complete a writing sample.
