Domestic Student Applicants

The admissions commitee looks forward to learning more about you!

You can apply online via your Ravenna account. Through this account, you will be able to submit your application requirements, check the status of your application, and view admission decisions.

For American students wishing to enter grades 7-12, we require the following:

  1. An application: Apply Online
  2. Test results: For students entering Grade 7, 8 or 9 the results of one of the  following exams:
    SSAT  (Newman School Code:5314)
       or
    ISEE   (Newman School code: 220330)
  3. Transcripts: from at least the past two school years
  4. Recommendations: from a math teacher, an English teacher, and a school administrator.

All of these steps should be completed before the admissions deadline of 2/1.  Admissions decisions are released on 3/1. Students applying midyear or after the deadline will be considered on a rolling admissions basis as space allows.

Students who are seriously considering Newman should visit us for a day, attend classes with a current student, and meet Newman students and faculty. Please Use our Online Calendar to make an appointment to visit or tour the school.

At Newman while receiving an amazing education that truly prepares you for college and your career, you're also positioned in the heart of one of the greatest cities in America, Boston.  The class size and atmosphere of the school really promotes learning and engagement. It's hard not to love what you're learning at Newman.
