  • How do I get to Newman?

    Copley Square: Green Line and MBTA Bus, 5-10 minute walk to Newman
    Back Bay Station: Commuter Rail and Orange Line, 10-15 minute walk to Newman

    Back Bay metered spaces: Clarendon, Dartmouth, Exeter, Fairfield, Gloucester, Hereford, Newbury, and certain blocks of Beacon and Commonwealth Ave.
    Rates:
    $3.75 per hour 
    Two hour maximum at most meters.

  • When do I need to decide on attending Newman?

    All family decisions must be communicated to The Newman School via Ravenna or email no later than Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 4:00 PM to reserve your spot in our 2024-2025 entering class.
  • How do we reserve our place at Newman?

    To accept your offer of admission to The Newman School follow this link to your Ravenna account:
    Log into your account and follow the instructions.
    • Click "Yes" to confirm enrollment.
    • Upon confirmation The Newman School will process your enrollment beginning March 18. Please allow 72 hours for processing after confirming. 
    • Confirmed families will receive an email from newmanboston@myschoolapp.com (please be sure to check your spam folder). 
    • Click "Accept Invitation". 
    • When prompted select "New Family" to create an account, regardless of whether or not you have a Blackbaud account at your current school. 
    • Review your contract, sign, and pay your deposit.

  • May I speak to current parents?

    Yes! Here's how:
    • Attend our Admitted Student Day on Saturday, April 6th!
    • Email us! We will happily pair you with a family to speak to admissions@newmanboston.org.
  • May I speak to a current student?

    Yes! Here's how:
    • Attend our Admitted Student Day on Saturday, April 6th! On Admitted Student Day, you will be paired with a current student who will share with you firsthand experiences at The Newman School. 
    • Email the student who wrote to you in your acceptance packet. If they they didn't write their email, email us, and we'll send it to you!
    • Email us! We will connect you to a current student, matching your grade and interests admissions@newmanboston.org.
  • Do you have a new student orientation?

    Yes!  We have new student orientation days prior to the start of school.
