The next Cardinal Theatre Company production will be Jane Anderson's Defying Gravity. Performances will be held February 25-27 at the Boston Center for the Arts in the South End.
Defying Gravity uses realism and magical realism (dreams? fantasy?) to tell the story of the 1986 Challenger disaster. It weaves the past, present, and future together to examine the human need to fly and explore space both from an artistic and historical perspective.
This March, the company will also take the production to the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild festival to compete with other high schools.
