Counseling and Wellness
Our students’ social and emotional wellbeing is just as important as their academics. Our counselor, Jill Foley is here to help support students at Newman. We use a team approach to ensuring each student receives the support they need to be successful. We understand every student is on a personal and developmental journey. When appropriate, Jill collaborates with students, teachers, administration, and parents to ensure we understand the complete picture of student strengths and needs.
Newman’s motto, Cor ad Cor Loquitor, Heart speaks to Heart is reflected in our school counseling services. Students will find the counseling office to be a welcoming, safe, confidential and strength-based space. All parents are encouraged to reach out to Jill anytime they have any questions, concerns or suggestions.
