Newman Rower Places First in Head of the Charles Junior Club Singles Event

Newman senior  Matyes Zetek placed first in the Junior  Club Singles race at the Head of the Charles. Over three hundred thousand spectators lined the  river's edges and bridges to watch over nine thousand rowers compete. Newman also raced a Boys Youth four : Denis Dorney, Jakob Eckstein, John Hutchinski ,Clayton Daher (coxen Claire Marks, alternate David Chen) and  a Girls Youth Double: Maddy Shack and Alex Daigle.

The teams were coached by Mr. Tom Tiffany and Mr. Nigel Gallaher. Congratulations, Teams Newman!
