Students arriving late to school and for any class MUST report to the main office to sign in and to obtain a late slip to enter class. Students who do not sign in and/or who are late to school will serve a one-hour detention after school each time it occurs. On the occurrence of the SEVENTH tardy (to class during the school day) the student will serve a one-hour detention on the day of the infraction. On the occurrence of the 11th tardy (during the school day to a class), enrollment in that course will be changed to audit status. In such cases, students will be required to complete the process for reinstatement of credit.
Students returning late from lunch will be assigned to detention that day and may, even on the first offense, lose the privilege of leaving the campus during lunch and/or open periods for the remainder of the semester.
The school expects students to act in a mature and responsible manner at all times and to respect the privileges of an “open campus”.
