There is a monitored homework study each day from 2:45 – 3:30 that freshmen and other new students are required to attend until the first academic progress reports are issued. During this homework study, which is designed to assist students with the transition to Newman, students may meet with teachers for extra help, or work in class on assignments. At the end of the first quarter, students in good standing may meet with the Dean of Students to determine if continued attendance is required.
