The Dean of Students, a certified Guidance Counselor, and the Assistant Director of Guidance are available for academic, personal and college counseling for all students at The Newman School. Any student, or parent wishing to meet with the Dean of Students or the Assistant Director of Guidance may contact them directly.
A major component of the guidance program is the college selection/application process. To that end, there are a series of required programs for all students providing important information about college testing (PSAT’s, SAT’s, etc.), deadlines, financial aid, and college readiness. Evening information sessions will also be available for students and their families. Detailed information and the schedule of programs will be provided in the calendar and newsletters.
