Employment Opportunities The Newman School is a coeducational day school located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay. The present school is the result of the merger of the Newman Preparatory School and the Newman School for Boys in 1970. At the present time 230 students are enrolled at the school in grades nine to twelve. The school encourages students to recognize the relationship between personal and intellectual growth, and, together with faculty and staff, to seek to nurture the intellect, to instill motivation, kindness, the desire for truth and moral decision making. The Newman School is a candidate school* for the Diploma Programme. The school is pursuing authorization as an International Baccalaureate World School.
