French

French I is designed to immerse the students in the sounds, words, and expressions of modern French. Through the use of direct method techniques, students will learn the basics of grammar, vocabulary and writing.  (single period/year)

French II builds on the skills introduced in French I. Through selected readings, students continue to develop accurate pronunciation, refine listening skills, develop vocabulary and the basics of grammar, comprehension and writing. Students will be called upon to use the language more consistently in class.  (single period/year)
