Global Studies

Global Studies is a course that examines the course of human events from Early Man through the Renaissance.  Civilizations from around the world will be studied.


The course will emphasize critical thinking skills and writing.  Students will write many debatable thesis papers and a term paper.  Geography, primary source readings and documentaries will be integral parts of the course.
 
Papers, tests, quizzes, notebook maintenance and class participation will be used to determine course grades.
