  3. Miss Ellen was wearing her stilettos at a dance party. During the party she accidentally stepped on her partner’s toes. If Miss Ellen weighs 60 Kgs and the area of the stiletto heel she was wearing is 0.40 cm2, calculate the pressure on her partner’s toes.

  4. 26th March - Solve the following questions:
    1. Katie whose mass is 30 Kg climbs a tree to rescue her cat who is sitting on a branch that is 8.0m from the ground. How much work does Katie do in order to reach the cat?
    2. Russell drags his suitcase 15m from the door of his house to the car at a constant speed with a horizontal force of 95N. How much work has Russell done in the process?
    3. Marissa does 3.2 Joules of work in lowering the window shade to a distance of 0.8m. How much force must Marissa exert on the window shade?
