  • In today's class' handout packet, complete the assignment on the last [4th ] sheet, "Using the Online Catalog." Use the "advanced search" technique as we did in class today to locate name and call number of a book that is on the shelf at the Newman Library by each of the six authors .
  • Keep up with your NYT Word of the Day.

  • Museum of Fine Arts field trip tomorrow, Friday. Leave Newman at 10:15; Return to Newman for beginning of 7th period.

  • Bring your 3 books and your search notes from your BPL search to class on Thursday.  We will be creating an annotated bibliography.

Please turn in your "Vanishing Verbs Vocabulary Exercises" as soon as possible. I forgot to collect them today, Thursday.

1. Go to www.studygs.net.  Select "Managing Time and Projects" under the time Management link.  Write out answers to all of the questions asked. Then click on the Daily Schedule link within this page and do the interactive You might want to print out your answers to have a record for yourself.

Due in class Monday.

  • Test how well you filter out distractions.
  • Test how well you switch between tasks.
