· What do you know already about this book or its author? If you want to include a blurb from Amazon, that is acceptable, but be sure to acknowledge Amazon and/or any other book review.
· Defend its Merits. Why do you think we should read this book? What will it show us or teach us?
· No works with excessive or gratuitous sex or violence. All works submitted must be texts possessing conspicuous literary merits.
· We will vote on the options presented in class, 8 March 2012.

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 6:
MONDAY FEB 5: Chapter One in Pink Oxford Study Guide Book Due. We'll Discuss Exam Commentaries in class and finish reading Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
TUESDAY FEB 6: In class, you will plan out and begin an exam commentary using an old Paper One IB Exam.
WEDNESDAY FEB 7: Chapter Three in Pink Oxford Study Guide Book Due. We'll discuss Exam Essays and watch some of Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.
THURSDAY FEB 8: In class, you will plan out and begin an exam essay using an old Paper Two IB Exam.
FRIDAY NO SCHOOL; English A1 Mock Exams are MONDAY 2/13 AND TUESDAY 2/14
