An important part of the program at Newman is the variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that are offered both during the school day and after school hours. We believe that schools should be rich environments, offering a wide range of engaging options for student to choose from. We maintain a 5 day, 7 period rotating schedule. Three periods out of this cycle are reserved for activities, and additional activities occur outside of the school day. Some of these activities are hosted by teachers, while others are presented by students. A sampling of our activities can be seen by visiting the links to the left, but the list varies from term to term based on student and teacher interest.
