The Newman School offers students a traditional, liberal arts education in preparation for the academic demands of college. Based on the philosophy of  John Henry Cardinal Newman, the curriculum is designed to provide students with the opportunity to connect their education to their personal development and to discover the connection between faith and reason. The Newman School is an International Baccalaureate School serving students from the Greater Boston area and international students from  twenty three countries. Students are challenged to reach their potential as they strive toward academic excellence, social consciousness and responsibility within the context of high expectations and consistent standards. Through an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning, students begin to make important connections in their learning and take an active role in the learning process.
